Coffee for a Cure is October 23rd!

The Human Bean will be holding its annual breast cancer fundraising event, Coffee for a Cure, on Friday, October 23rd.  All proceeds on this day, from all locations throughout the United States, will be donated to local breast cancer agencies.  Coffee for a Cure has become a hugely successful and effective event. We are delighted to help make a difference in the fight against breast cancer.

In Oregon alone, between Providence Foundation and Asante Rogue Regional Medical Center, we have helped fund approximately 145 mammograms per year. This is a total of over 1600 mammograms to date.  This is in addition to follow-up care and ongoing patient support.

This year marks the 15th anniversary of our annual Coffee for a Cure event. Together, with our amazing customers and franchisees, we have raised over $1.8 million dollars.

About Coffee for a Cure

Each location works directly with foundations that are local to their drive-thru location.  We help with preventive scans for early detection. We also help as well with education, and support patients with expenses while going through treatment.  They allocate the funds to the patients that need financial help the most.  Since starting Coffee for a Cure, fifteen years ago, we have lost a barista, a franchise owner, family, and friends as well to breast cancer.

The Human Bean is on a mission to inspire authentic human connections, one cup at a time. We want to give back and also support the communities that we serve.  Please visit any of The Human Bean locations on this day to make a purchase. All proceeds will be donated to a local breast cancer care center in that community.  We will also have tumbler travel mugs, bracelets, as well as other merchandise with the Coffee for a Cure logo for sale that day.

The Human Bean has a long history of partnering with local organizations and also giving back.  We continue to focus on building authentic human connections…with a bean on top.

Together we can make a difference.
