Come meet your new furry best friend or simply learn more about Big Bones Canine Rescue at The Human Bean northern Colorado’s next Guest Barista Day.

Join us from 9-11am August 10 at The Windsor Human Bean location for a Guest Barista Day Fundraiser and Meet-and-Greet Adoption Event with Big Bones Canine Rescue. They will have adoptable dogs, treats, and general Big Bones Canine Rescue info available. We will also be donating 10% of that day’s sales from the Windsor location back to Big Bones Canine Rescue.

In 2013, Kristie Fisher founded Big Bones Canine Rescue Service, Inc.  It began as a small rescue effort, run by one woman with a huge heart for helping dogs in need. Since then, Big Bones has grown exponentially.  In 2018, they successfully rescued nearly 1500 dogs with over 90% of them being from high kill areas.  Only a small portion of their rescued dogs are puppies.  In fact, unlike some rescues, they prefer to focus their efforts on adult dogs in need. Today, Big Bones is still 100% run by volunteers.  They believe the success of the rescue is built on the ownership and pride each and every one of their volunteers feels in this organization.

Please note that in order to adopt a dog the day of the event you will need to have all paper work complete and have final approval from the Big Bones Canine Rescue board. Please visit to learn more about our approval process. source tracking
