Every Earth Day, The Human Bean locations around the U.S. donate the equivalent of one tree for every drink purchased to Trees for the Future. This nonprofit plants trees to promote sustainable farming and biodiversity in our coffee growing regions around the world.

Help Our Planet Fight Hunger in Coffee Growing Communities
Last year, we gave $16,768 after our annual giveback day — the equivalent of tens of thousands of new trees. This makes The Human Bean an official Impact Planting Partner with Trees for the Future.

This partnership helps support the coffee-growing communities that provide quality beans for our roasters. In turn, that coffee also helps us raise money for local communities during our other giveback days throughout the year. The Impact
Trees for the Future not only helps the environment — they also help fight hunger and poverty in the communities they serve. They’re teaching farmers about sustainable farming practices, giving them tools for growing and harvesting, and improving biodiversity for growing other crops, too. The result is more vibrant economies and flourishing food systems around the world.
