Last month The Human Bean fans and drive-thru customers showed their support for men’s health in hot, cold and blended ways — by enjoying their favorite mochas! Around the U.S. our baristas served chocolatey drinks with a purpose, to support early detection and treatment for men’s cancer.
In total, The Human Bean communities raised $20,000 during Mochas for Men, and all the funds will stay local. That means mochas sold in Mesa, AZ will support programs in Mesa, AZ, and likewise with all drive-thru locations from coast to coast.
With $1 from every mocha sold going to organizations that focus on scans, treatment, and education, we’re proud of the impact Kind Human Beans were able to make on men’s health this year!
More Ways to Give Back in August
The summer goodness is staying alive with our Annual Food Drive coming up in August. All drinks sold on this special day will result in three meals for people in need — that’s the national average for a $1 donation to a food bank or program that addresses local hunger.
Last year, we were able to fund 181,000 meals around the U.S. Will you help us blast last year’s numbers out of the water? Pantry stocks are generally lower in the summer, and your community members and neighbors will have more access to healthful food because of your drink purchase on Friday, August 18th.
